Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a session cost?
$160 – $175 per session.
Do you accept insurance?
I don’t directly bill insurance. However, I can provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of a percentage of the costs. The amount reimbursed will depend on your policy.
How do I pay?
I accept all major credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle.
Will we meet in person or online?
Currently, we will meet online only. I am monitoring the COVID-19 situation and may resume in-person sessions in the future in Midtown.
How do I schedule an appointment?
If you’re a new client, please call 404-295-4852 or complete the contact form. Once we have a conversation and determine we’re a good match, we can schedule your first appointment. If you’re an existing client, feel free to call, text, email, or send a message via my website to schedule a session.
How long is each session?
A typical session is 50-55 minutes long. Depending on your situation, a 1.5-hour or double session is sometimes more cost effective. I recommend 1.5 – 2 hours for brainspotting therapy, for example.
How many sessions do I need?
How many sessions you need will depend on the issues you bring to therapy, your current state of mind and motivation, and how you are feeling. Some issues take months to resolve while others take years. Most often, after four or five sessions, we will evaluate where we are, where we’re going, what is working, and what changes to make.
Will there be homework in between sessions?
I believe that work in between sessions is beneficial to your therapy, and I will provide recommended homework if you would like. Whether you complete this work is up to you. There will be no judgement if you choose not to.
